Individual Entry Fee

Registration
This year’s race will take place on Saturday October 5th at 11am. Numbers & timing chips can be collected in Moone National School on Friday 4th October from 6:00pm – 9:00pm and Saturday 5th October from 9.00am – 10.30am. Your Race number should be worn on the front of your vest with the pins provided at registration. Your Timing Chip should be attached to your shoe with the supplied ties.

Course Measurements
The course is officially measured by an Athletics Ireland certified course measurer.

Water Station
There will be one water station close to 6k.

First Aid
First aid personnel will be in attendance.

T-Shirt
There will be T-shirts for all entrants.

Prizes
1st: €100, 2nd: €75, 3rd: €50 (Male & Female)
1st Over 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70: €30 (Male & Female)
Bonus for winning in a new course record: €100
Current Records: Men 31:03, Ladies: 37:41

Baggage Area
We will have a baggage area in Moone National School.

Headphones
We strongly advise against wearing headphones. If you chose to wear headphones during the race, please take extra care and be aware of others around you and especially of the possibility of unauthorised traffic on the course. We also have some official traffic on the course (emergency services etc.), so please be careful.

Parking
There will ample parking available on the day, please follow stewards’ instructions.

Terms & Conditions of Entry
By signing the entry form (or entering online) you accept the following:
I declare that I will be 18 years of age or over on 5th October 2019. I will not compete in the race unless I am medically fit to do so and I accept that I will be participating entirely at my own risk. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road. I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organisers, sponsors, promoters and each of their agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and all other persons associated with the event, for all my liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in this event. I understand that this waiver includes any claims, whether caused by negligence, the action or inaction of any of the above parties, or otherwise. I understand that the entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. By submitting this application I agree to be bound by all the rules of the event. I understand that I enter the Tony Donoghue Memorial Moone 10k at my own risk and that neither Kildare County Council, Athletics Ireland, Tony Donoghue Memorial Moone 10k, or any of its agents, any sponsors, associate sponsors, or patrons, will be held responsible for any accident suffered or injury sustained by myself from any cause whatsoever, or for any property lost, damaged, mislaid or stolen, on the course, from my person or at the changing areas or at any place. I agree to abide by all lawful instructions issued to me by An Garda Siochana or the stewards on the Course on the day. I grant permission to Moone 10k to use any photographs or video recordings for promotional purposes. I have read, understand and agree to all of the above.
